Mums and bubs yoga is a great chance for you to regain strength and flexibility in a relaxed environment while bonding with your new baby and other new parents. You will navigate your yoga mat, creating a playful space for your baby to be active and interact with Mum. Your baby will benefit from bonding time with you and other babies while enjoying the benefits of yoga play and movements, giving Mum an opportunity to strengthen and let go of stress.
In this class you have the opportunity to:
- Strengthen the back, abdomen, and pelvis floor muscles
- Release tension in the back shoulders and neck muscles
- Improve posture
- Decrease stress
- Bring fun & pleasure to both you and your baby
- Connect with other mums
This mums and bubs yoga class is suitable for mums 6 weeks postpartum from a vaginal birth and 8 weeks postpartum from a C-Section with medical clearance. Babies up crawling stage are welcome - but this is not a hard fast rule.
A minimum of a 5 classes punchcard is required to book mums and bubs yoga classes. These passes are also valid for any of our other casual yoga classes. If you plan on coming 2 x week, a cheaper option is our monthly membership where you pay only $130/month for unlimited classes.
