Mindfulness-Meditation Course

For beginners who want to learn about mindfulness-meditation or anyone who wants to deepen their existing practice in a serene space. There is an emphasis on practically guiding & encouraging you to explore different mindfulness-meditation techniques. This course will not only give yourself the opportunity for some weekly 'timeout', but will give you tools to assist with bringing mindfulness-meditation practices into your daily life which can improve your overall wellbeing.

You will:
  • Be guided to explore different styles of mindfulness techniques - finding what works for you.
  • Learn about how awareness can transpire into creating a better quality of life, both physically and mentally.
  • Receive handouts & resources to take home.
  • Be given the option take voice recordings of the teacher's guided meditations (personal use only).
  • Be given the opportunity to reflect on your practice in a safe place with like-minded people.
  • Receive a personalised follow up call or email 3-4 weeks post course.

Teaching is inspired by Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Yoga Nidra, and other research & evidence-based practice. 
Karma, your teacher, brings to the class Yoga Alliance recognised training (200RYT), experience with practicing mindfulness/meditation in its many forms for 10 years & openness in sharing her benefits and challenges when it comes to the life-long learning of mindfulness.
This is a non-religious course without the 'fluff'.
